Put heart into your social media. February is American Heart Month and there are many ways to raise awareness about vascular health. Theme your in-office promotions in shades of red and share the impact of heart health on eyesight with your patients (learn more here).

  • Partner with a health-conscious business. Promote healthy habits and partner with a local gym or restaurant and create a co-branded message. Schedule a social media takeover with your fellow local business and co-host a live video Q + A on Facebook or Instagram to increase your exposure across these platforms.
  • Go Red. Showcase stylish red frames in your in-office display to promote American Heart Month. Create a Pinterest board that highlights bold red frames and share with your patients for inspiration (example here).
  • Share heart-healthy tips. Share quick heart-healthy exercise and nutrition tips that help your patients’ heart perform at its best. A few examples could be taking the stairs at work, increase omega-3 intake, or set a goal of 30 minutes of cardio a day.


Get social.

Download these Facebook and Instagram graphics and use the recommended copy to engage through social media. Or, better yet, customize the post to fit your practice’s current fall/winter promos and specials. Don’t forget to add your practice phone number and city or neighborhood hashtags so patients can find you and schedule their annual eye exam!
